As CIA continues to expand, we remain focused on bringing on only the highest caliber talent and protecting the unique company culture that has contributed to our longevity and success.

That’s why we are proud to welcome Andrea Avery and David Campbell as our two newest producers. Avery is based in Knoxville, TN and Campbell works out of the Chattanooga, TN office.

Andrea Avery got her start in the insurance industry in 2004 right after college. The CEO of her company saw something in her and sent her out into the field to make cold calls, propelling her into a successful career. With fifteen years of experience in the insurance industry now, she has honed sharp skills in helping clients assess their total cost of risk and recognize significant gains to their bottom line.

She focuses on auto liability driven accounts, distribution, trucking and rail, and has worked extensively with alternative risk programs, group captive, and large deductibles. An Arkansas native, she attended Ole Miss and lived in Birmingham, AL before moving to Knoxville in 2013.

Outside of work, Andrea’s passion is working with children. She currently serves on the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Gala Auction Committee and is involved with The Next Door, an organization that helps women, generally mothers, re-enter after incarceration, treat addiction or recover from long standing mental health issues. She has also participated in events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She enjoys traveling (frequently to Arkansas and England, where she and her husband’s families live) and spending time with her daughter Mary Raley, son Jack, and husband John.

David Campbell is a skilled problem-solver within the insurance industry. He first found his passion for insurance after selling his own business, and now loves helping his clients find the best solutions to fit their needs.

Campbell found his niche in transportation, though he has experience in the fields of workers comp, wholesale, and retail. He grew up in the no-stoplight town of Kingsley, Iowa and kept himself busy in high school as a four-sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball, all while running track. When he wasn’t playing sports in high school he was working on the family farm, which grew corn, soybeans and alfalfa and raised hogs and cattle.

He is the first male in his family to graduate college and attended Wayne State College in Nebraska. He now lives in Calhoun, Georgia with his beautiful wife and Calhoun native, Amanda, and their three children: Russell, Sailor, and Asa. Russell plays tee ball and soccer, and David and his wife keep busy watching him play. When he’s not at work, you can find him going to the gym, playing slow pitch softball or basketball, going to museums or exploring the outdoors with his family and their beloved dog.
