Don Denbo

Meet Don Denbo

There is no one quite like Don Denbo.

He has the competitiveness of a stand out athlete and offers clients the deep strategic recommendations of an accomplished scholar.

Don played college football and went to the London School of Economics. The New Yorker published his poems, and he’s a serial entrepreneur who owns businesses in various industries, including scrap, rail, restaurants, software, and hospitality.

One of the co-founders of C.I.A., Don’s spirit flows through the company.

At the University of Tennessee, Don was an All-SEC offensive guard. Don still holds one of the top three high school shot put records in the state of Tennessee. His sons and partners in C.I.A. Scott and Will, hold the other two records.

He attended the Vanderbilt School of Medicine and received a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics.

For 14 years, he was a local radio personality on WLAC-AM, appearing on “Football Finals.”

Personally, Don enjoys traveling and collecting fine art. He and Jacque, his wife of 43 years, have four grandchildren whom Don claims to have proved are the best grandchildren on the planet.
